New advisors expand ASG capabilities across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East

GLOBE NEWSWIRE -- Global business strategy firm Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG) announced today that Addis Alemayehou, Richard Morningstar, and Philip Winder have joined as Senior Advisors. These experts provide strategic counsel to ASG clients with interests in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

ASG also announced the opening of a new office in the United Arab Emirates.

Located in Dubai Media City, ASG’s new office serves as a hub for the firm’s operations in the region. The office is led by Jad Mneymneh, who earlier in his career served in the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi’s Office of Strategic Affairs.

New ASG Senior Advisors include:

Addis Alemayehou joins ASG’s Africa practice. Based in Addis Ababa, he draws on his extensive public and private sector experience to address ASG client needs in East Africa. Alemayehou served as Chief of Party of USAID’s Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) Ethiopia Program, where he worked to increase trade between the U.S and Ethiopia. He is also the co-founder of Ethiopian entertainment channel KANA TV and CEO of 251 Communications.

Ambassador Richard Morningstar advises ASG’s clients with interests in Europe and Eurasia and on energy matters. His distinguished career as a public servant includes serving as U.S. Ambassador to the European Union, Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy, and U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan, among other roles. In the private sector, he was President and CEO of the Costar Corporation for over a decade. He is the founding Director and Chairman of the Global Energy Center at the Atlantic Council.

Philip Winder joins ASG’s Middle East and North Africa practice, bringing decades of experience in finance and investment management across the region. He is CEO and founder of Polygon Investment Management, and worked as an economist at the New York Fed. Throughout his career, he has led teams specializing in the MENA region at Schroder Investment Management, Credit Suisse, and Bankers Trust.
