KUWAIT, May 15 (KUNA) -- Exchange rate of the US dollar against the Kuwaiti dinar on Tuesday dropped to KD 0.278, the euro also fell to KD 0.357, compared to Sunday's figures, said the daily bulletin of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK).

Exchange rate of the Sterling pound rose to KD 0.448, the Japanese yen remained stable, at KD 0.003, whereas the Swiss franc also slipped to KD 0.297.

Many factors have been affecting the exchange market, namely Greece's failure to form a coalition government after legislive elections, amid popular demands that the nation withdraw from the euro zone -- thus feeding predominant jitters in the main markets.
