DUBAI -- A major Kuwaiti business house has invested substantial sums into buying prime plots of land at The Business Bay, according to officials of the developer, Dubai Properties.

Bukhamseen Group of Companies Director, Osama Bukhamseen said, 'Our choice of investment in the Business Bay is due to its unique and strategic location in the heart of Dubai, near Shaikh Zayed Road. We make sure that the projects in which we invest are acclaimed for their high quality designs, construction and services, all of which are qualities present in Business Bay.'

'We are optimistic about the economic development that the Gulf is experiencing, specifically Dubai which has unique and promising projects coming up,' Osama said.

The Bukhamseen Group has invested approximately Dh100 million in Business Bay.

Dubai Properties is a member of Dubai Holding and operates with the express aim of conceiving niche development projects and transforming that vision into reality.

The Bukhamseen Group of Companies is one of the biggest business houses of Kuwait. The Bukhamseen Group of Companies will put in their best resources in terms of architecture, structure, designing and planning, materials to create landmark projects within the Business Bay.

Jawad Bukhamseen Commercial Corporation is owned by Jawad Ahmed Bukhamseen. It was set up in 1960 and since has rapidly diversified into key sectors such as hotels and resorts, travel and tourism, general trading, real estate development, management, finance, banking and insurance. Apart from its home base in Kuwait, it also has operations in Egypt, UAE, Syria, Lebanon and other countries.
