BAGHDAD: Parliamentary Iraqiya bloc chairman Salman al-Jumaili disclosed that "the Turkish officials expressed their concern on democracy in Iraqi in the light of unilateral rule and one-party system".
In a statement late last night, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, he announced that "the Turks are ready to rectify the political process in Iraq, similar to its support to the Syrian democratic force".
He criticized the double-attitude of the Iraqi government for foreign officials' visits to Iraq.
Turkey is a key supporter to the protest campaigns taking place in Syria, which took place since March 2011.
Jumaily expressed thanks for the Turkish government, following his recent visit to Turkey, for supporting the democratic forces in Iraq.
Oglu arrived last Thursday in Arbil then went to Kirkuk, which visit was denounced by the Iraqi government, which was done "without its knowledge".
Kurdish Foreign Relations Commission announced that Oglu got a visa from the Iraqi embassy in Turkey, which gives him the right to visit any Iraqi city, calling Baghdad "to deal with the matter naturally".
Iraqi-Turkish relations witnessed "tangible deterioration" since the last few months, particularly following the refuge of Iraqi vice-president Tariq al-Hashimi to Turkey.
A number of mutual charges took place between Iraqi and Turkish premiers, in addition to Kurdish exports of crude oil to Turkey without the consent of the federal government.
