Tamer's Chairman: Developing human capital, industry and infrastructure
Celebrating 90 years of achievement and continued service to the community in the field of importing and manufacturing pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, nutrition, wellness, beauty, and prestige, Tamer held special events in Riyadh attended by a large number of customers, regulators, and dignitaries in the pharmaceutical, medical, consumer, and prestige fields, in addition to senior social figures hosted by Maamoun Tamer, Ayman, Mohammed, and Faisal.
The event started with a warm welcome from the Company's Chairman Ayman M. Tamer who acknowledged the great support and comprehensive care given to the private sector within the economic system by the Government and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz t. He said, "We share the great support given by our wise leadership to the various economic and social sectors. Today, we are gathered here to celebrate our 90th anniversary, which is accompanied by successes during the blessed milestones that marked our transition from importing medicines to manufacturing them locally. This enhances the efficiency of the National staff, increases job opportunities for Saudi's, resulting in nationalization of the workforce. Moreover, focus has been given to hiring ladies as well as special needs encouraging them and offering them the required support" He added that "The celebration of 90 years reflects a history of participation in the development of the saudi community that offers a lot of sustainable and comprehensive development in all areas, particularly medicine and health services, to meet the needs of the growing population in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, and the Middle East & North Africa. Our activities include importing, distributing, promoting, marketing and manufacturing a wide range of products and services through partnership agreements and strategic alliances around the world. "
The ceremony included a video clip produced by Digital Domain, and a laser show, demonstrating the great achievement and growth of the Tamer Group and its contribution to the community it lives in. Finally, the Chairman of the Board presented awards of appreciation for key government bodies that supported the Tamer Group throughout the years. The group hosted a special event in Jeddah for this occasion under the patronage of His Royal Highness the prince of Meshal Bin Majed during which a large number of employees who have spent over 25 years at the company, as well as international business partners were honored for their contribution to the development of the Saudi community in collaboration with Tamer Group.
