Saudi Post to upgrade mail infrastructure

By KHALID TAWALBEH President of Saudi Post Mohamed Saleh bin Taher Benten confirmed the company has several initiatives in the pipeline in order to raise its performance and overcome difficulties since the organization started work eight years ago.

Benten said the most important initiative is to improve customer satisfaction, stating that the Saudi Post is considered the first government agency to set up a profitable company specialized in postal transport called Naqel.

During the launch ceremony of the strategy established by Saudi Post 's strategic management office, called "Strategic Management and a Balanced Scorecard," Benten added: "Infrastructure to distribute mail to more than 90 percent of addresses in the Kingdom has been completed, and development of employees in the organization, preparation for the delivery of government services as well as e-commerce, are being implemented."
