JEDDAH - Saudi Oger Training Institute (SOTI) and ABV Rock Group Company signed an agreement on training and education of Saudi youths to prepare them for employment in the private sector.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah Al-Obaid, director of SOTI, and Ali Bin Hamad Al-Eidi, Human Resources manager of ABV Rock Company, on Jan. 2.
The agreement provides training for 60 ABV Rock Saudi employees in the fields of construction, carpentry and steel fabrication. The courses will last for 6 months, 8 months and 6 months, respectively.
SOTI's training policy will be applied on these courses under a professional trainers' supervision to ensure proper implementation of the agreement.
SOTI's management has signed various agreements in 2009 such as "The Collaboration and Training Agreements" with HRDF. Saudi Oger is a private diversified construction company. It operates in various business lines, such as construction, operations and maintenance, telecommunications, printing, real estate development, utilities and information technology.
It has presence in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the US.
Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Oger employs about 35,000 people.
