S Korea oil imports from Iran up by 16% in June

Tehran - South Korea's oil imports from Iran has indicated an increase of 16 percent in June 2013 compared to the previous month despite the sanctions imposed on Iran.

A recent report shows that South Korea has imported 138,157 barrels per day of the Iranian crude oil in June.

On June 13, a report by the International Energy Agency (IEA) said Iran's crude output had risen by 30,000 barrels a day in May to 2.68 million barrels a day.
