YANBU, 5 August 2007 -- Since Dec. 20, 2006, the Saudi Aramco Mobile Refinery (SAMREF) has posted a region beating two million man-hours accident free record.
"This achievement puts the SAMREF at the forefront of refineries in the Middle East in terms of industrial safety," said Fawzi Zamzami, director of industrial safety and government affairs at the company yesterday.
Fawzi also commended the cooperation of all the workers and contractors who helped to make SAMREF one of the best refineries in the world in implementing safety regulations.
