Aiming to win the 'City Makers' race

tm App is intended to serve Landlords and real estate sector, in addition to supporting the development of the entire real estate sector in the Emirate

App enables users to access all necessary information about building & construction permits as well as electricity & water services, Users can also track the status of approvals from government authorities and NOCs directly using his project/plot number

App enhances transparency in transactions between customers and stakeholders, supporting the objectives of Smart Dubai initiative.

Dubai, UAE, 03 August, 2015: In line with comprehensive efforts for delivering smart and innovative services to support the Dubai government's vision and achieve the desired goals of 'Smart Dubai' initiative launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who targets to transform the city of Dubai into the world Smartest City, and as part of the intensive determinations to win the 'City Makers' initiative announced by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, the Red Team announced launching of the beta version of tm pioneering initiative smart application, which was designed and developed by the Red Team members consisting of four government authorities: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Municipality and Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment.

The announcement of tm beta version App release was during an 'Open Day' organised by the Red Team at Grand Hyatt Dubai attended by contractors, consultants, properties owners and real estate developers from all around the emirate.

Salah Al Amiri, Assistant director general of Environmental & Public Health Services division in Dubai Municipality, and Deputy Head of the Red Team, started the ceremony with the opening speech, welcomed the audience, and spoke more about the initiatives and achievements of the Red Team.

In addition, during the open day event, a demonstration was presented in presence of representatives from each of the four government authorities who developed and implemented the application. Moreover, the Red Team members introduced a detailed explanation about the application's characteristics and advantages, and answered several audience inquiries and concerns.

Furthermore, City makers race aims to introduce a new work mechanism for government authorities, which will assure an appropriate environment to enrich cooperation and leads into finding innovative solutions & initiatives for shared services between the concerned authorities, serving all segments of society and enhance the happiness rate of the emirate's residents. Correspondingly, the race is also aiming to create the ideal environment for government authorities to compete as integrated teams, to entrench the importance of integrating efforts of government authorities in achieving excellence in all offered services.

Moreover, The pioneering Initiative of "tm" will facilitate all necessary information to landlords, properties and projects owners in Dubai, and will also keep stakeholders and concerned entities abreast of the status of government approvals, and procedures required to be followed in order to obtain Building and Construction NOCs and infrastructure installations, in addition to tracking the legal procedures pertaining to real estate development projects, as well as various information and essential facilities that perfectly serve landlords, properties and project owners, and real estate developers to enhance the interaction transparency and increase the level of happiness.

"Launching the beta version of 'tm' application is a result of inspiration with the directives of the Dubai government and the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to enhance government services to the highest standards. It also reflects the vision of His Highness to strengthen cooperation among government sector entities to serve public interest. On the other hand, the initiative harmonises with the vision and efforts of the Red Team in achieving the objectives of the 'Happiness Meter' initiative launched by His Highness to monitor people's happiness and satisfaction with the provided services, for further improvements and enhancements to meet their desires and aspirations" said Engineer Abdullah Al Hajri, Executive Vice President of Customer Services Division in Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, and Leader of the Red Team.

"This pioneering initiative contributes in promoting and strengthening operational efficiency in line with the vision of the Red Team, which supports the team's concerted efforts to achieve the honor of winning the title of 'City Makers' race launched by HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown prince of Dubai and Head of Executive Council. The app also complements the efforts and endeavours of the Red Team in enhancing the satisfaction of stakeholders including contractors, consultants and infrastructure developers in Dubai, by providing all possible facilities to expedite procedures and offering miscellaneous smart services able to fulfil their needs seamlessly and professionally in all occasions" added Al Hajri.

"The Red Team has worked for over three months to design and develop this pioneering application that will give landlords and owners of residential, commercial and industrial properties with innovative smart services contribute in saving time and effort and enhance the level of happiness about the services provided by the four government organisations representing Red Team," said Salah Al Ameeri, Assistant director general of Environmental & Public Health Services division in Dubai Municipality, and Deputy Head of the Red Team.

The 'tm' smart application will help the stakeholders to accomplish their works professionally and save their time and effort. Typically, the customer journey required to follow a number of procedures to track the status of electricity and water connections as well as the permits required for execution of works in the right of way. With the launching of 'tm,' customers will take only few minutes to perform this process.

The App plays a significant role in developing and improving government services provided to customers across different segments. Conversely, Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, a member of the Red Team, had effectively contributed in the initiative by providing a massive amount of important information collected through a series of surveys conducted over the past five months.

And during the Open Day, a chance was given to the audience to interactively test the application through iPad smart devices, and provide their feedback and suggestions about the App for future improvements until its official launch during the month of August of current year.

'tm' application will be available for free download on both Android and iOS devices in both App store and google paly stores in UAE.
