AMSTERDAM, May 8 (Reuters) - Dutch dredging group Boskalis

BOSN.AS said on Wednesday it is in talks to sell its stake in Archirodon, a construction company involved in projects in several countries in the Middle East.

"Since late 2012, Boskalis has been in talks with a party from the Middle East which is interested in acquiring Boskalis' 40 percent stake in Archirodon," the firm said when it released its first-quarter trading update. It gave no other details.

The world's largest dredger said first-quarter revenue was higher than a year ago, while its order book was stable at 4.1 billion euros ($5.36 billion).

Boskalis did not give a full-year profit forecast, citing the impact of its acquisition of maritime transport firm Dockwise and possible divestment of its stake in Archirodon.

It said the outlook for its markets was mixed; governments, particularly in Europe, are reluctant to invest while private initiatives for new infrastructure projects are still going ahead.
