Damascus - Qatar National Bank - Syria opens on Wednesday a new branch in Idleb Province in the framework of multiplying its branches to include other provinces with aim of reaching all Syrian people.
Chief executive of the Bank Yousef al-Nemeh said that opening a new branch of the bank in Idleb would satisfy all the vital needs of the banking services in the province which could support the agricultural, tourist, industrial and developmental projects.
He added that the Bank stresses its commitment to meet the growing needs of its customers all around Syria and, hoping to establish new branches in other Syrian provinces and towns.
Al-Nemeh pointed out that, with its various services, the Bank seeks to match up with the development of the banking sector, particularly in light of the economic development which requires broadening the financial service base supporting the investment projects in Syria.
Qatar National Bank - Syria was established in 2009. Ownership of the bank is shared by the Qatari side with a percentage of 49% and the Syrian side with 51%.
