Qatar Building Company (QBC) is a Gold Sponsor of The 10th Gulf Water Conference

(Doha, Qatar) 19 April 2012 - As Water Infrastructure Specialists, Qatar Building Company ( QBC ) upholds its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to the community and the environment by becoming a Gold Sponsor of next week's 10^th Gulf Water Conference (GWC).

The 10^th GWC, to be held in Doha, Qatar from the 22^nd to the 24^th of April 2012 at Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel, is organized by Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporations (" KAHRAMAA "), Water Science and Technology Association (WSTA), and the Secretariat General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States; it is under the management of Interactive Business Network. The conference will address the issues of water, energy, and food as major challenges of the future across the GCC and Arab countries.

QBC Vice Chairman, Mr. Abdulhameed Mostafawi, speaks about the decision to sponsor the prestigious event: "We embrace our organization's role as a responsible member of our society, and do what we can to invest in building sustainable infrastructure and socially responsible water technologies.
