DOHA: Providing more healthcare services to the population in the northern areas of Qatar, a new dialysis centre and a paediatric emergency facility was opened at Al Khor Hospital, yesterday.
The Minister of Public Health and Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Health H E Abdullah bin Khalid Al Qahtani inaugurated Nasser bin Abdullah Al Misned Dialysis Centre and Aisha Al Misned Children Emergency Centre.
The Minister and Director of Hamad Medical Corporation Dr Hanan Al Kuwari toured the two new centres and were briefed on the services they deliver.
Nasser bin Abdullah Al Misned Dialysis Centre will serve a large segment of the population of the north to relieve them from the hardship of coming to Doha for dialysis.
Assistant Executive Director of Al Khor Hospital Salem Abdullah Al Shahwani underlined in a statement that the two centers are new additions to the hospital and will service a large segment of the population of the north.
