Qatar will float tenders for its proposed 200MW solar energy project by the end of this year, reports The Peninsula newspaper. The first phase of the project is scheduled for launch by early next year, according to Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) president Essa bin Hilal al Kuwari.
