BAGHDAD: Industry Minister, Ahmad Nasser al-Karbouli, unveiled on Tuesday a plan to assemble nine brands of different vehicles in Iraq.
BAGHDAD: Industry Minister, Ahmad Nasser al-Karbouli, unveiled on Tuesday a plan to assemble nine brands of different vehicles in Iraq.
"The Industry Ministry has a plan to sign eight agreements to assemble vehicles of different brands, including Hundai and Cherry, in addition to manufacturing car batteries and tires," al-Karbouli told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"Agreements have been signed with global companies to manufacture bulldozers," he added,
"There is a real need to change the investment law number 21,22 of 1997, as well as other laws," he noted.
