Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship online poll open until February 21st

Manama, Wednesday, February 18th, 2015:

Final countdown begins for The Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship's People's Choice Award online poll as voting remains open until 1pm on February 21st. The People's Choice Award category has so far received a staggering 4000 online votes for its 20 award semi-finalists.

This interactive element allows the public to choose their winners simply by clicking on their candidate of choice on the official awards website www.BahrainAE.com. Everyone is encouraged to continue voting for their favourites while the vote remains open.

The People's Choice Award semifinalists as listed on the website are:

Bayanat DMC, Namaste, Sugar & Lace and Wood Jewelry for Micro-Enterprise of the Year; Amina Gallery, EAT, Obai & Hill and Startup Bahrain for Startup of the Year; Creative Style, Designer Shaik, Ideas Information Technology and Maya La Chocolaterie for Enterprise of the Year (SMEs); 2Connect W.L.L, Abdulla Ahmed Nass & Sons Co., Dadabhai Travel & Tours Co W.L.L and KMC Holding for Enterprise of the Year (Large Companies); and Almoayyed Contracting Group, BMMI, Reef Arabia and The K Hotel for the Sustainable Business Award.

Winners in each award category have the chance to further sustain their businesses and grow for the future, as some of the prizes include enrollment in development programmes; startup funding capital; business coaching;  business  incubators and accelerators; growth plan development in addition to training and certification. Final category winners will be announced on the date of the official ceremony for the Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship in March 2015.

The Bahrain award for Entrepreneurship has been launched with the partnership of Tamkeen, EDB, BDB, and Knowledge advisors BCCI, UNIDO, EY Bahrain and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
