MUSCAT -- The Omanisation Joint Committee in Oil and Gas Sector discussed in its first meeting in 2013 the rates of Omanisation achieved in the sector reflected in the activities of companies and training programmes offered by the sector to the national manpower and the activation of Omanisation through value-added programmes.
The Committee has developed a mechanism to implement the recommendations of the Sectorial Committee which had been submitted to the Supervisory Committee, which included annexation of petrochemical industry and wholesale transport of oil and gas to the sector.
