The Wave's new green villa precinct launched

By Ali Ahmed al Riyami MUSCAT -- Following on from their recent sellout launch of the marina village apartments in Almeria East in March, The Wave, Muscat , the Sultanate's premier lifestyle destination, announced the latest sales launch of the Reehan Gardens villas at its sales centre in Seeb yesterday.
David Stafford, Vice-President Sales and Marketing, The Wave, Muscat , gave a speech about their latest launching and the timely progress that has been made for The Wave Muscat 's multibillion dollar integrated tourism complex (ITC).
Located to the east side of the master-planned development, Reehan Gardens will be one of the 'greenest' precincts within The Wave, Muscat with more green public spaces for the community. In addition, a green buffer zone and pedestrian walkway has been incorporated along 18 November Street to enhance the livability of the precinct, which will also have easy access to the new Greg Norman designed course at Almouj Golf and the Fairmont hotel, once completed.
The launch comprises 107 large twin villas and traditional detached villas in 3-7 bedroom configurations, starting from RO 200,000-600,000. The Reehan Gardens villas have been carefully designed to offer residents more efficient use of space inside and outside the villas, with optional extras including swimming pools and children's playrooms. Based on positive feedback from investors and residents, a number of designs have been reintroduced to this villa release, including Santini and Triad.
Sales of properties start from the end of the month, and interested parties are encouraged to visit The Wave, Muscat sales centre for more information and enquiries.
The CEO of The Wave, Muscat , Michael Lenarduzzi, said that the Reehan Gardens villas will provide a sustainable community space:
"The concept behind the Reehan Gardens villa precinct is to provide a larger, greener and more efficient living space. It is based around larger plots, within a fully landscaped community, and is focused on providing a community lifestyle. Green public areas and walkways will connect residents in a community network, as well as providing access to the beach through residential parkland areas.
"Central to our vision, at The Wave, Muscat , is to deliver a sustainable community as part of a world class tourism destination in Oman. This release will create a new milestone within the project towards achieving this vision."
Already The Wave, Muscat has delivered many of its core lifestyle elements, adding new dimensions to The Wave, Muscat residential experience, including the new 18-hole Almouj Golf course with additional flood lit par 3 nine-hole course, Stage 1 of the 400 berth Almouj Marina and the retail precinct at Almeria North.
The Wave, Muscat is Oman's first and most successful ITC offering freehold properties to local and foreign buyers with the added advantage of residency status. To date over 1,200 properties have been sold and more than 800 delivered to their owners.
In response to reporters' questions, Stafford said, sales for this year alone have reached RO 20 million and with the growth of tourism development in the Sultanate and the Muscat International Airport expansion project, scheduled for completion in 2014-2015, the Omani ITC market is seen as an attractive one by investors looking for high quality residential products.
