Muscat: Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil) has signed a contract with National Mineral Water Company (NMWC) for the supply and distribution of water under the brand name 'ahlain.' This marks omanoil's first venture into a store brand product, which is aimed at transcending the company's philosophy of total convenience, according to a press release.

"We have bottled our values of excellence and convenience to introduce the ahlain brand with a practical product that fulfills our customers' everyday needs," said Hussain bin Jama Al Ishaqi, general manager of Retail, Fuel Cards and Regional Offices. "Not making any exceptions and applying only the highest standards of quality in sourcing and packaging our ahlain water, we will continue to supply motorists and local communities with the very best in the market," he added. Usama El Gohary, Regional Manager of Operations at NMWC said: "We are proud that omanoil has entrusted us with this exciting new endeavour. Our integrated, state-of-the-art and fully automated plant boasts machinery from some of the world's best equipment suppliers which will satisfy all contract requirements. Like omanoil, we invest in latest generation technology to produce first-grade goods." 

The agreement will see NMWC source, manufacture, process, supply, bottle and package, store and distribute omanoil's ahlain convenience store product. ahlain water will be sourced from the foothills of El Jabal El Akhdar where rainfall is naturally filtered to retain rich minerals. 500ml and 1.5l ahlain water bottles are available at all 81 ahlain convenience stores across the Sultanate.
