Officine Panerai continues the expansion and qualification of its distribution network with the opening of the new signature boutique in Muscat, Oman. The new Officine Panerai boutique is in collaboration with Al Qurum Jewellery, one of the foremost Omani companies in the watch and jewellery industry. The boutique will offer Panerai customers and aficionados an elegant ambiance which enable them to appreciate the brand's environment and introduce them to all desirable models including the brand's most exclusive and coveted Special Editions.
The new boutique is located in the plush Royal Opera House Muscat, the leading arts and culture organization in the Sultanate of Oman. This distinctive venue serves as a centre of excellence in global cultural engagement and showcases rich and diverse artistic creations from around the world which serves as an inspiration to eclectic audiences and nurtures creativity with innovative programs. This iconic and majestic Opera Palace designed with stunning handmade ornaments and sophisticated rich interior is in many ways an embodiment of complexity and diversity offering luxury, comfort, and Leisure to all visitors.
The design of the new boutique, with a floor space of around 58 square metres, is emblematic of all Officine Panerai boutiques, where shapes, colours and materials contribute to recreating a classic& Italian style environment inspired from the sea; the main distinctive element which identities the brand. From the historical supply of highly specialised precision instruments to the Italian Navy, to the current sponsorship of the classic boats regatta circuit Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge; the sea has always played a leading role in the Florentine company's history. The boutique interior evokes this link through the use of teak wood and steel, porthole-shaped windows and sinuous fittings recalling ocean waves and the shape of the most elegant sailing yachts.

ABOUT OFFICINE PANERAI:
Founded in Florence in 1860 as a workshop, shop and school of watch-making, for many decades Officine Panerai supplied the Italian Navy in general, and its specialist diving corps in particular, with precision instruments. The designs developed by Panerai in that time, including the Luminor and Radiomir, were covered by the Military Secrets Act for many years and were launched on the international market only after the brand was acquired by the Richemont Group in 1997. Today Officine Panerai develops and crafts its movements and watches at its Neuchâtel manufacture. The latter are a seamless melding of Italian design flair and history with Swiss horological expertise. Panerai watches are sold across the world through an exclusive network of distributors and Panerai boutiques.
