Expo Center Sharjah Calls upon Visitors to Utilize Available Job and Training Opportunities

Expo Center Sharjah disclosed that National Career Exhibition and International Education Show have attracted so far significant attendance by citizens on its first two days. Concluding Today, both events are held at the Center under patronage His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Expo Center Sharjah encouraged visitors to utilize the opportunities offered at both exhibitions on its last day and benefit from the academic advice that helps them determine their educational life, or to seize the available career offerings.

Commenting on the events, He Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah and Chairman of UFI’s MEA Chapter said: “the attendance rates we have witnessed on the first two days exceeded our expectations. We are anticipating increased number of visitors on the third day as the events are still packed with professional and academic opportunities.”

In its 19th edition, National Career Exhibition offers hundreds of job opportunities in various industries at private and governmental sectors. On the other hand, the 13th edition of the International Education Show provides invaluable academic guidance by an elite group of experts who are participating at the event to help students determine their academic path that will pave the road for their career.

“The National Career Exhibition is supported by the Government of Sharjah- represented by the Directorate of Human Resources- and in collaboration with Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS)” Al Midfa added. “This reflects the commitment of the government and private employers to implement Emiratization policies, as it also stresses the genuine need for national skills in private and governmental sectors.”

Adding further, Al Midfa called upon students to visit the International Education Show and meet with representatives of over 100 academic entities taking part in the event. This show is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Ajman University of Science and Technology, with the support of SCCI.

The UAE Armed Forces is the Platinum Sponsor, while Sharjah Islamic Bank and Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization are the Golden Sponsors. As one of the most important events on the national events agenda, the exhibition attracts young Emiratis looking for job opportunities that suit their capabilities.

Aiming to encourage Emiratization in all sectors, more than 70 governmental and private entities are taking part in this event, including 15 banks, 10 insurance companies, 2 exchange companies and 30 governmental institutions.

With Ajman University as the platinum sponsor, more than 100 national, regional and international educational institutes are participating in the International Education Show. Exhibitors include universities, colleges, higher education institutes, commerce and business schools and technology institutes.

Among the key national institutions participating in the exhibition are: Emirates Aviation University, Fujairah University, and Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart University. Many other notable institutions are taking part in the event including Cromwell Foundation from the UK, Future Abroad, the University of Calgary, the University of Waterloo, Heriot-Watt University, Joramco Academy, Sunway University, as well as My Aspiration, Education Institute from Malaysia.

UAE Armed Forces Offers Job Opportunities

The UAE Armed Forces Headquarters is taking part at the National Career Exhibition with the aim to attract and employ male and female high school graduates. The Armed Forces is offering lucrative incentives with great opportunities of development and promotions while the students carry on their academic studies at military collages and institutions, or at national universities.

The Armed Forces Pavilion is offering visitors detailed explanation about the available opportunities, work environment, training and academic programs, as well as a review of the conditions for recruitment at the Armed Forces.
