ABU DHABI, May 24th, 2013 (WAM)-- H. H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, has greeted President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Members of Supreme Council, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Prices and UAE people on the winning of Baniyas Football Club of the Gulf Clubs Championship title for the first time in its history.
He noted that the feat was a fruit of perseverance and support from the leadership. Sheikh Nahyan also congratulated His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces on the occasion. He congratulated H. H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Chairman of Baniyas Club on the occasion, adding that his direct support led to the qualitative shift that has become a model for professionalism.
