1018 GMT [Zawya Dow Jones]--Most Persian Gulf stock markets end higher Thursday, extending recent gains, as investors cheer some strong first-quarter earnings amid improving global equity risk sentiment. But the focus is expected to shift to valuations as the usually slower summer months begin, traders say. Dubai's benchmark index rises 0.7% to 2177.68, Abu Dhabi's market is up 0.8% at 3369.21 and Kuwait ends +0.6% at 7769.46. All three markets are at multi-year highs after some sharp gains in 2013 so far. Doha's market slips 0.1% to 8847.88 at close. (nikhil.lohade@dowjones.com; Twitter: @ZDJnews)
