JEDDAH: Albilad Bank announced on Monday that it would distribute two months' salary in bonus among its workers in line with the royal decrees issued by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ordering payment of bonus to government employees.
"We hope that this measure would increase the spirit of combined work among our bank's employees and improve the work atmosphere to help them provide better services," said Musaed Al-Sinani, chairman of Albilad's board of directors.
American Express in Saudi Arabia also announced its plan to give two additional salaries to its 300 employees, including non-Saudis. Abana Project Group said they have decided to raise minimum wage level for Saudis to SR3,000 and give two-month salary bonus to all Saudi workers of the company.
Tabuk Gov. Prince Fahd bin Sultan, chairman of King Abdul Aziz Charitable Society in the province, gave his instructions to distribute two-month salary as bonus to all the charity's employees and increase minimum salary to SR3,000.
The National Water Company also disclosed its plan to distribute two-month-salary bonus to all its employees. In a statement issued on Monday, the company said the welfare programs announced by the king would boost the Kingdom's social and economic development.
Asharqia Chamber in the Eastern Province said it would distribute two salaries in bonus among its employees. Abdul Rahman Al-Rashid, chairman of the chamber, said the bonus would help increase the staff's productivity.
