Damascus - Minister of Information Dr. Muhsen Bilal on Wednesday called on Media to convey the positive and real image of Arabs to the western public opinion.
"The problem lies in the fact that our voice doesn't reach the West while the voice of our enemy which presents what it wants of information to the western public union is heard there," Minister Bilal added during a meeting with Chairman of the Board of General Mediterranean Holding Co. Necmi Uce and Secretary General of Anglo-Arab Organization in Braitin Maha al-Faqir.
They discussed the best means to transfer the positive of Arabs to the western public opinion and launch inter-cultural dialogue between Arab and western intellectuals.
Anglo-Arab Organization exerts efforts to issue an English language magazine in the western countries that reflects the positive image of Arabs to the European opinion.
Minister of Information expressed readiness to help accomplish this project and contribute to it in different manners.
