Dubai: J. Ray McDermott yesterday said it has won a contract by Maersk Oil Qatar to engineer, procure, construct, and install two wellhead decks for the Block 5 Field Development Plan 2005 project.
"Through an EPCI project customers benefit from optimum planning and scheduling, with all services managed and carried out in-house, providing a host of advantages to all parties," said Hafez Aghili, senior vice-president Middle East and India. "We are pleased to be associated with this key field development project for Qatar's expanding oil and gas market."
The two decks have a combined weight in excess of 4,800 metric tonnes.
