Masharie announces winners of the 2009 Annual Awards

Dubai - December 05, 2010:- Masharie, the private equity arm of Dubai Investments PJSC, announced the winners of the second edition of the Masharie Annual Awards. The awards were presented to the winners by Khalid Kalban, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Investments PJSC and the Chairman of Masharie.

The Masharie Annual Awards 2009 comprised 4 categories of Excellence Awards, with Abu Dhabi-based Folcra Beach, a leading manufacturer of architectural aluminium products in the Middle East, emerging the big winner of the night clinching the Overall Excellence Award. Sharjah-based Anchor Allied, the largest manufacturer of adhesive tapes and specialty adhesives in the Middle East, bagged top honors in the Operational Excellence category, while Stromek Emirates Foundations, one of the region's leading foundation and enabling works contractors, won the Financial Excellence Award. International Rubber Company (IRC) was the winner of the Sales Excellence Award.

During the event, the Managing Directors of the Masharie portfolio companies shared their experience and views on the effective strategies for strong performance in 2011.

"The Masharie Annual Awards were instituted in 2008 to recognize group companies that demonstrate outstanding business achievement," said Abdulaziz Bin Yagoob Al Serkal, CEO of Masharie.
