Maridive is bidding for a project in Cameroon in a consortium, which also includes Total and Enppi, the company said in a statement.
Maridive's portion of the project would amount to $140 million and will be performed in 2010.
In its daily market report, Beltone Financial said the result of the tender will be announced before the end of May.
"We believe this will be positive for Maridive, only if the consortium is awarded the project. The CFO mentioned that the project involves cable-laying and pipe-laying work," Beltone said.
