Fujairah, United Arab Emirates: UAE's most popular getaway resort, Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah, announced that it will soon begin an AED 10 million renovation and refurbishment project. During this expansive project, the hotel's popular Views restaurant will receive a complete revamp and the beaches will be protected from the ocean waves.
Views restaurant will be redesigned bearing in mind Le Meridien brand guidelines and ensuring that the restaurant staff can cater to guests more efficiently by adding seating capacity and enhancing the culinary offering. The renovation will ensure that the vast space and floor-to-ceiling windows that allow diners to enjoy views of the gardens and sea remain intact.
A state-of-the-art interactive kitchen is being built in keeping with the hotel's philosophy of 'freshly cooked', allowing guests to view the chefs in action. Live cooking stations are also being introduced for guests' convenience. The kitchen's layout has been meticulously designed and planned, with the designer taking into account the high volume of guests that the hotel caters to for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Reiterating the hotel's commitment to protecting the ocean, the hotel will also be constructing wave barriers away from the shore as well as a landscaped retention wall on the beach to lessen the impact of waves on the shore and prevent beach erosion.
