BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--Kuwait's Mushrif Trading and Contracting Co. (MTCC.KW) said on Thursday that it has been awarded a 13.88 million Kuwaiti dinar ($48.7 million) deal by state-run Kuwait Oil Co.
The 2-year contract involves installing high-pressure smokeless flares in 14 oil gathering centers in the Gulf state's southeastern region, the contractor said in a statement posted on the Kuwait bourse website.
Mushrif said in November that it had emerged as the lowest bidder in this tender.
The company's shares closed 1% lower at 98 Kuwaiti fils in an overall positive market.
