KUWAIT, June 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Farouq Al-Zanki announced on Thursday KPC's board of directors' decision on transfers and promotions within the oil sector.
In a press statement, Al-Zanki said that the board's decision came as a step aimed at aiding the exchange of experiences within the sector and boosting communication that would initiate a quantum leap in implementing KPC's strategy for 2030.
He pointed out that the board decided to transfer Nabil Bourisly of Kuwait Oil Tankers Corporation (KOTC) to the KPC and Bader Al-Khashti, KPC's managing director for research and development, health, safety and the environment, to the post of KOTC chairman of the board and managing director.
Al-Zanki added that the board has also approved the promotions of Ahmad Behbehani, KPC deputy managing director of internal audit and Adel Al-Abbasi, KPC's deputy managing director of research and technology.
Moreover, he mentioned that Minister of Oil Hani Abdulaziz Hussein has issued a decision on the redistribution of tasks among managing directors, to which Nabil Bourisly would become managing director of administrative affairs, research and development, and information technology, Ali Al-Hajeri as managing director of financial affairs and development group, Abdullatif Al-Houti as managing director of planning, health, safety, and environment, and Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid Al-Sabah as managing director of government and parliamentary relations, public relations and media, and administrative services.
