BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--Kuwait's Shuaiba oil refinery has resumed operations of four major units after completing scheduled periodical maintenance on these units in June, Kuwait-based Al Seyassah daily reports Tuesday, citing an executive.
The maintenance work, costing 1.6 million Kuwaiti dinars ($5.7 million), was on the isocracker unit, the sulfur processing unit, the gas emission treatment unit, and the water treatment unit, the paper said quoting Mutlaq Al Azmi, deputy managing director for the Shuaiba refinery at state-run Kuwait National Petroleum Co., or KNPC.
The other units were operating at full capacity during the maintenance period and these include the diesel, kerosene, and gasoline units, and the gas processing unit, he told Al Seyassah.
