SANA'A, 12th May, 2013 (WAM) -- The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation opened today two new distributing centers in Yemeni capital Sana'a.
The move is within the sixth stage of the foundation's distribution of food assistance among the needy people in implementation of the AED 500 million aid announced by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for Yemen. The Foundation aims to send the biggest amount of food aid to the Yemenis, where it has distributed more than 12,000 food parcels among the needy people in the capital Sana'a in cooperation with the UAE Embassy and other concerned local authorities. The food parcel included basic food staff such as wheat, cooking oil, rice and sugar. The beneficiaries hailed the charitable donation and the UAE's humanitarian stances towards the Yemenis, extending thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Khalifa for his benevolence.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2013.
