KNPC to start KD 11-bln projects in '11 - official
KUWAIT, July 4 (KUNA) -- The total cost of the projects which the Kuwait National Petroleum Company ( KNPC ) works on in 2011 are expected to hit KD 11 billion, Deputy Managing Director for Projects Hatem Al-Awadhi revealed Monday. In an exclusive statemetn to KUNA, Al-Awadhi unveiled that the company was putting the final touch on the plans and designs of the fifth gas project whose cost would amounts to KD 315 million. (One KD equals USD 3.645). The KNPC board would mull the project designs shortly before passing to the Kuwaiti Petroleum Corporation for final approval, Al-Awadhi said. He disclosed that the board is studyig a KD 200-million-worth sulfur handling project, describing it as the most important under-study projects.Zawya Comment Policy
