Kuwait says committed to ensure oil export with no delay
By Tamer Abul Enein (with photos) GENEVA, Oct 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Oil Minister Mohamed Al-Busairi reiterated here on Tuesday that Kuwait Petroleum Corporation ( KPC ) has taken all measures and precautions with regard to production and export, and that "there is no fear of any disruption caused by the strike of customs officials with regard to oil export". Al-Busairi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that KPC has a lot of sincere Kuwaiti caders who are working to release Kuwait's petroleum shipments to all countries in the world. Al-Busairi went on saying, "We have taken all precautions and are prepared and ready in the event of any deficiency, problems or obstacles, as there are other institutions in Kuwait which are ready to help the KPC in preventing any impact on the level of Kuwait's oil exports." The minister pointed out that "at the moment there is no effect and we have taken all necessary measures so as not to be any impact in the future or the appearance of anxiety or fear by the citizens or any entity whatsoever, including consuming countries or those states which have obligations with Kuwait to deliver oil that there will not be any failure, delay or stoppage of any amount agreed upon with all countries and institutions outside of Kuwait."Zawya Comment Policy
