Amman - Minister of Education Fayez Al-Saudi stressed his ministry would provide opportunities for all Jordanians in line with the Global Plan of Action to meet the Education for All (EFA) goals.

During his meeting on Saturday with a New Zealand Parliamentary delegation, Al-Saudi said that achieving EFA goals requires reviewing national plans and strategies, including new measurements to assess the quality of education, identifying used policies and benefiting from international expertise.

Jordan, he added, had launched many pilot projects, such as the Education Reform for Knowledge Economy Project (ERfKE), and other schemes that qualifed the Kingdom to keep up-to-date with global economic and social developments.

The delegation hailed Jordan's education achievements as well as support it provided for non-Jordanian students who had been forced out of their countries under "emergency humanitarian circumstances."
