The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Thursday announced that the volume of excess reserves is JD 2.621 billion.

According to the CBJ bulletin, the volume of excess reserves stood at JD 2.432 billion last Sunday which is the lowest level during the current week, while the required reserves stood at JD 1.189 billion all the week.

The amount JD 50 million being the value of the new two years treasury bonds issue number (15/2012) will be issued on 22/04/2012, according to the CBJ.

The CBJ added that the amount JD 50 million being the value of T.bonds issue number (10/2009) will be matured on 23/04/2012.

No overnight repurchase agreements were held with CBJ yesterday.
