ERBIL - The size of Iraq's oil exports in April reached over 75 million barrels with an export revenue of over $8.7bn (10.1tr IQD), said the country's deputy oil minister in a statement.
Motasem Jihad said the total export of Iraqi oil to foreign markets during the past month was 75.3 million barrels.
Daily average exports of oil during April reached 2.5 million barrels, said Jihad.
Oil is transported to world markets on a daily basis from the ports of Basra and Khor al-Amaya on the Arab Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean Sea, as well as by truck to Jordan.
