BAGHDAD: Iraq announced on Thursday a tender to purchase not less than 30,000 tons of rice from the United States, Uruguay, Thailand and Argentina, the trade ministry said.
BAGHDAD: Iraq announced on Thursday a tender to purchase not less than 30,000 tons of rice from the United States, Uruguay, Thailand and Argentina, the trade ministry said.
"The tender closes on December 9 and offers will remain until December 13," it added.
Iraq is one of the biggest importers of Wheat and rice in the world and uses a large part of the imports to spread foodstuff in the ration cards.
