Dubai - United Arab Emirates:  The Dubai Council for Marine and Maritime Industries (DCMMI), an industrial body representing the offshore and maritime industry and relevant services and INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, the organizers of Offshore Arabia 2016 Conference and Exhibition, announced today at a press conference held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai, the agenda of Offshore Arabia 2016 that will be held on the 17th & 18th of May at Dubai International Exhibition & Convention Center.

The press conference was presided by HE Khamis Juma Buamim, Chairman of Dubai Council for Marine and Maritime Industries, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, the Executive Chairman of Offshore Arabia Conference and Exhibition and member of the Dubai Council for Marine and Maritime Industries DCMMI, Mr. Juma Mubarak, Managing Director- Mubarak Marine LLC, Eng. Omar Abu Omar, Chief Operating Officer of Tasneef, Mr. Shashi Shekhar, Group Chairman and Founder SCLG, and a number of officials and experts covering a wide spectrum of the marine industry .

The panel discussed during the press conference the latest updates in marine and maritime industries, and they highlighted the main topics that will be covered and discussed during Offshore 2016 conference revolving around the future of Offshore Environment, Oil & Gas, Marine and Renewable Energy Industry in the region and worldwide. The event brings together industry professionals from all over the world to discuss the strategic, operational and technological developments in the MENA region for offshore activities and sea environment.

The organizers of show announced during the press conference the agenda of Offshore Arabia 2016 that will cover topics like: Oil & Gas Industry- Global Bigger Picture & Regional Perspective, Innovations in Ports, Freezones, Offshore Technologies, Shipping & Ship Building, Offshore Opportunities, Coastal & Offshore Oil Production and the Protection of Sea Environment, Maritime Education and New Opportunities, Maritime Security, to name a few. Offshore Arabia 2016 conference will include researches and lectures presented by environmental, oil & gas specialists from the USA, Canada, Germany, Singapore, France, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

From his side, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani said: "As organizers for Offshore Arabia Conference and Exhibition and in cooperation with the DCMMI, we have put together a 10 years working plan to support and improve the marine industry and its technologies, as well as supporting ports, logistics and to ensure the environmental and coastal protection in the region."

Dr. Al Madani continued on saying: "We have done a restructuring for Offshore Arabia Conference and Exhibition so it would accommodate with the country's requirements from this industry. Offshore Arabia is now a significant platform for the institutions involved in the maritime and petrochemical industries, in addition to spreading awareness and education in addition to reinforcing the economy. "

From his side, Eng.
