The International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced that it would provide urgent aid for the countries of the Middle East, including Jordan.

In a press release issued on Thursday, Executive Director of the IMF, Christine Lagarde, said that providing aid to countries including Jordan, Yemen and Morocco, will contribute to enhancing their economic growth.

She added that negotiations are also held with Egypt under the Fund's framework of financially supporting the region. "We believe that fruitful discussions will be held with the Egyptian government regarding the loan" she said.
