ICT revenues expected to reach JOD1.8bn this year

AMMAN -- The Ministry of Information and Communications Technology on Tuesday said the sector's revenues in 2013 are expected to reach JD1.8 billion.

In a statement, the ministry said the ICT sector's revenues in 2012 stood at about JD1.8 billion.

The ICT sector's revenues in 2011 reached $1.67 billion, of which $738 million were generated by the information technology sector, according to figures by the ICT Association of Jordan.
