Beirut, 23 April 2013: HSBC Bank Middle East Limited today announces that it has appointed Peter Yeates as Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Lebanon. Peter Yeates succeeds François de Maricourt, who was the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Lebanon from 2009 to 2013.
Yeates joined the HSBC Group in 1983. Since becoming a part of the Group, he has gained extensive experience working across the Bank's businesses and the markets in which it operates, including the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, USA, Philippines, France and Latin America.
Before moving to Lebanon, Yeates spent three years in Latin America as Head of Private Banking.
