The same year Prince Alwaleed also donated $2.4 million in response to the call of HRH Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz (currently King Abdullah) to support the Palestinian people. HRH also donated SAR9 million to support the Palestinian people in 2000 responding to an appeal made by Crown Prince Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz.

In 2003, responding to the call made by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd, HRH donated SAR100 million to a national telethon to help re-build the infrastructure of the country. HRH had also donated $635,000 (SAR2.4 million) to finance the completion of Fata Hospital for the rehabilitation of handicapped, which is under development by the Palestinian Center for Human Perseverance (Fata). Fata is a non governmental, non profitable establishment and it was first established in 1999. Its main purpose is to offer medical services to devastated and poor families within the Palestinian community. In addition to medical services, the center also offers cultural, educational, social, and psychological services to the public.
