Gulf Medical Projects Company yesterday said its 2007 first-half net profit rose 89 per cent to Dh31.1 million from Dh15.9m a year earlier.

The increase in net profit was due to a rise in the combined profit of two of its units Al Zahra Private Hospital Sharjah and Al Zahra Private Medial Center to Dh31.3m in 2007 from Dh22.3m in 2006.
