Deputy Oil Minister Javad Oji said the country's revenue from natural gas exports is expected to surpass $10 billion per annum.
Oji said on Monday Iran will increase gas exports to nearly 100 million cubic meters (mcm) per day by the end of the current Iranian year (started March 21).
He added that Iran currently gains between $3.5 billion to $4 billion on average per year from exporting gas to neighboring Turkey, Press TV reported.
Oji also said Iran has signed new agreements with Iraq to deliver gas via two routes to power plants in the cities of Baghdad and Basra, adding that the agreements will increase Iran's gas exports by 40 to 45 mcm per day.
He said Iran will begin the first phase of gas exports to Iraq within four months.
"Iran has signed a new deal with Pakistan to carry 21.5 mcm to its eastern neighbor daily," he said, stressing that Iran is set to export gas to Pakistan by the beginning of the next Iranian year (March 2014) after the pipeline is completed.
Oji said Iran's gas revenues will triple by the beginning of the next year.
"Iran is ready to export gas to all neighboring countries, particularly the Persian Gulf littoral states," he said.
