A formal notice of award was received in January and the contract wasrecently signed by both parties. The approximately $185 million contract will bebooked in Fluor`s second quarter of 2013. Sharq Crossing is a marquee program in Qatar`s ambitious development plans aheadof the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The project will traverse Doha Bay and will comprisebridge sections interconnected by an immersed tube tunnel to create a newpassageway beneath the waters of Doha Bay. Completion of the system is requiredby 2020 to support the run-up to the World Cup event.
