Sulaimaniyah, July 17 (AKnews) - Sulaimaniyah International Airport will host its first flight from Istanbul on Monday, the director of the airport said today.
Tahir Abdulla told AKnews that the flight from Istanbul will carry a delegation of Turkish officials and business people to Iraqi Kurdistan's second city.
Turkish Airlines will operate the flights weekly.
The airport, opened in July 2005, operates 40 international and national routes, most of them to European countries.
