Sports and fashion enthusiasts across Abu Dhabi need look no further for all their sporting needs as Nike opened its first store in the emirate today, in Abu Dhabi Mall.  This brings the total number of Nike stores across the UAE to 5.

The new 140 sq metre store in Abu Dhabi Mall will be stocking all the latest ranges and specialist sportswear including the Nike football, running and training ranges.

Nike's latest Mercurial range will be amongst the new stock in store, including the Mercurial Vapor football boot.  This lightweight football boot, which weighs only 185g, allows for maximum speed and is yet another example of Nike's technical know-how in crafting top of the range footwear.  First debuted by footballer Ronaldo, the boots are available in either soft ground or firm ground versions and come with removable studs which can be purchased in different lengths, or traditional screw-in aluminum studs.

Abdul Wahid Al Ulama, Executive Vice Chairman of Retailcorp World, said, 'We are aware of a huge demand for Nike in Abu Dhabi, and so the new store in Abu Dhabi Mall will be welcome news to residents.  We will be stocking all of the latest Nike ranges, and our store will offer something for all sports enthusiasts."
